On 30 / 7, Dang Cong Huan (Vice Chairman Kien Giang province) said together with leaders of central government ministries, international investors meeting to discuss plans for investment in eco-tourism and holidays support combined with casino in Phu Quoc island district.
The land is planned across 130ha in Da Chong beach of Bai Thom Commune "pearl island" of Phu Quoc. This project will select foreign investors strong financial commitment to pour 100% of total investment capital for the project must be between 4 billion or more in the form of competitive bidding.
Under the plan, if the casino was built right on the area covering about 30,000 square meters to accommodate 200 to 400 gambling tables and 2,000 gaming machines. In the area of eco-tourism resort conference center, an international conference and the hotel must achieve 5-star with approximately 3,000 rooms.
According to Order, this project will rent for a maximum period of 70 years, during which time the casino license shall not exceed 30 years.
